SELF MONITORING

Our products, production, storage and distributing facilities are subject to a comprehensive and approved self monitoring programme. The programme ensures the quality during all processes from receipt of the raw material and all the way until delivery to our customers.

PACKAGING STANDARDS

For packaging of our products we use only environmental friendly packaging that is approved for food. All our packaging comply with the Euroean Food Directive.

MONITORING OF LIMFJORD OYSTERS AND MSC DREDGED BOTTOM MUSSELS AND ORGANICH ROPE GROWN MUSSELS

The mussel and oyster fisheries is one of the most monitored fisheries in Denmark. In order to get an permission to fish, it must be proved that the mussels, oysters and water quality comply with the limits of algae provided by the authorities.
The week before fishing samples of water and meat are analyzed at approved laboratories. The samples are taken before the first fishing day in every week. This process ensures that our customers are always supplied with mussels and oysters of the highest quality and food safety.

Immediately after landing, the mussels and shellfish are cleaned in fresh water from the fjord. After sorting and packing they are transported in unbroken cold chain for delivery to our customers.

Samples of water and meat are analyzed at accredited laboratories.
